Meet the CAP Communications Therapy Team
About Our Founder
Hi! I’m Alli Caplinger, SLPD, CCC-SLP, the founder and therapist at CAP Communication Therapy Services, LLC. I have been a speech-therapist for almost 10 years with most of my experience working with school-aged children diagnosed with language disorders and dyslexia.
I graduated from DePauw University 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and from the University of Kansas with my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2017.
After graduation, I worked in a private school setting designed primarily for students with language-based learning disabilities and fell in love with literacy. Each student had a story of strength through adversity and it was my honor to help them put it into words.
I began my private practice in 2020 and have continued to refine my language-literacy intervention services. This led me back to the University of Kansas to earn my Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology with an emphasis in written language development and intervention.
My clinical passion is writing and its connection to oral language. This drive allows me to support children in finding their voice out loud and in writing. It would be an honor to be a part of your child’s journey.
